What you will do

Reporting to the Branch Manager and working directly with the Workshop Team Leaders, this position manages the daily work order activities for our customers from commencement to completion.

This role is integral in ensuring our customers trucks and busses are returned within agreed timeframe.

Responsiblities include;

  • Effectively manage the Workshop Team to achieve optimum productivity levels
  • Foster and promote a safe and healthy work environment maintaining safe work practices at all times
  • Mentor, coach, manage and support Team Leaders in providing clear and practical guidance to Technicians and Service Advisors
  • Provide technical support to the workshop as required

Who you are

To be successful as a Workshop Controller within our organisation, we believe that you will have previous management experience in a workshop/service environment within the heavy vehicle or automotive industry. You will have excellent communication and rapport building skills along with relevant technical qualifications and proven experience in heavy vehicle repair and maintenance.
