What you will do

Based in Campbellfield and part of the Pre-Sales Business Support team the primary responsibilities are to ensure vehicle compliance and engines compliance throughout the sales cycle to associates and customers. Reporting to the National Pre Sales Technical Manager you will;

  • Prepare Australian Design Rules (ADRs) submissions on behalf of Scania Australia and liaise with factory to ensure production compliant
  • Maintain up-to-date records for ADR’s and other Regulatory requirements related to Scania products
  • Coordinate ADR compliance applications and ensure vehicles processed in Australia meet ADRs requirements and that New Vehicle preparation in designated States is consistent with Scania Australia policy guidelines
  • Maintain central point of contact for all local ADRs enquiries
  • Coordinate and conduct Conformity of Production Audits with relevant Government body
  • Advise Department Managers and Technical Representatives of new ADRs and other Regulatory changes and associated product compliance/non-compliance
  • Conduct and assist with Internal/External audits as required

Who you are

To be successful for this position, you will have experience within the Heavy Vehicle Commercial Automotive (Trucks & Buses) and Industrial Engine experience. You will be degree qualified in Engineering, and have high attention to detail. You will have strong time management skills coupled with strong problem solving skills. You will be proficient with Australian Design Rules national standards and Heavy Vehicle National Law (HVNL). Salary for this position will be between $60,000-$62,000 plus super depending on experience.
