What you will do

Reporting to the State Manager - SA, you will work onsite in the mining customer’s workshop on a full time basis. Duties will include;

  • Perform mechanical diagnosis, complex repairs and service of vehicles and equipment
  • Diagnose and solve complex system faults using diagnostic equipment
  • Promote and work within Scania Dealer Operating Standards
  • Foster and promote a safe work environment and maintain safe work practices at all times
  • 7 days on, 7 days off day shift roster

Who you are

To be successful as a Mining Specialist Technician, you will be a qualified Heavy Vehicle Diesel Technician and ideally have Scania Truck experience. You will have strong mechanical aptitude and pride yourself on delivering quality repairs whilst maintaining safe work practices at all times. You will hold a current Heavy Vehicle licence.
