What you will do

As a member of the Management team and reporting to the State Manager – the State Sales Manager will manage a team of four.

  • Manage New Truck Account Managers to achieve sales objectives
  • Working with the State Manager to develop the business plan to achieve sales targets
  • Work cross functionally across all areas of the business – including Parts, Service and the Dealer Support Centre based in Melbourne
  • Identify new prospects and opportunities, develop an understanding of customer business, in relation to Scania product needs
  • Develop strategies, forecasting and reporting to market trends and activities
  • Lead, guide, motivate and develop your team, fostering a culture of service and excellence

Who you are

We are looking for a proactive and dynamic State Sales Manager to deliver overall financial objectives for the Queensland region. Your ability to forge strong working relationships both internally and externally, coupled with your drive to achieve, will ensure your success in this role.

You will have a passion for identifying new prospects and developing this business by an in-depth understanding of your customers business in relation to their Scania product needs.

Extensive sales and people management experience ideally gained within heavy truck, OEM or Capital Equipment Industry will be highly regarded. With a strong track record and projected growth within the QLD region, it is a great time to join Scania.
