What you will do

Reporting to the Sales Director – Truck, the purpose of this role is to manage national accounts within the Fire & Specialised industry, maintaining long-term relationships and maximising sales opportunities. You will be responsible for;

  • Managing customer relationships that result in new and repeat business
  • Prepare business planning strategies that drive the sales of Scania trucks (including sales volume, profit and market share on a national basis)
  • Partake in quarterly meetings with Fire Authorities to ensure sales and service expectations are being met
  • Support and assist the National Fleet Sales team in achieving business objectives and activities
  • Identify new prospects and develop an in depth understanding of customer businesses, particularly in relation to Scania product suitability and application
  • Maintain Scania’s CRM sales reporting system ensuring accurate information on customer contacts, sales and opportunities

Who you are

To be successful in this role, we believe that you will have extensive sales experience in the heavy vehicle or related industry with demonstrated experience in building and maintaining customer relationships. You will be able to uncover customer’s needs, present solutions, handle objections and gain commitment.
