Scania Finance Australia is a wholly owned subsidiary of Scania CV AB Sweden. We have been in operation in Australia for a little over 4 years and have 15 global business units covering 51 markets worldwide, Scania Finance is a global organisation with its own treasury funds. We work directly with our OEM partner (Scania Australia and New Zealand) to provide tailored and flexible financing solutions to customers.
What you will do
In this role you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining and developing the Credit Risk Management department in supporting Scania Finance Australia and New Zealand. Duties include:
Manage the credit and collections function
Develop proposals for credit approval and credit management process
Approve credit applications and provide recommendations for credit applications- work with local and regional teams
Work with sales departments to prepare credit papers
Undertake analysis and reporting to promote strong risk management culture
Contribute and improve credit and collections policy
Control credit and collections issues
Act as the AML person for Australia and New Zealand, implementing frameworks
Inform and advise regarding data protection and reporting data breaches if required
Who you are
To be successful in this role, you will have proven knowledge and experience in the financial services industry and an understanding of credit agency tools. You will be across the legal framework relevant to commercial leasing and lending through working knowledge of asset finance products. You will be well versed in AML policies and procedures. OEM experience advantageous. With head office based in Campbellfield, Melbourne, this location would be first preference, however open for this person to be based in Brisbane, QLD or Sydney, NSW.
